Dollar Tree Wood DIYs

DIY

Every time I visit Dollar Tree, I pick up a few wood pieces to add to my craft stash. During a recent evaluation of my craft supplies, however, I noticed that my inventory of wood pieces is getting a bit out of hand. To help free up some space in my craft room, I challenged myself to create a few decor pieces using mostly wood items from my stash.

House Shelf Sitter

With the help of some black and white chalk paint, scrapbook paper, and my Cricut machine, I transformed these Dollar Tree houses into a personalized family display. I purchased the Bloom where you are planted SVG from Etsy and used the font Pour Over Coffee from an inexpensive font bundle that I purchased from Teachers Pay Teachers.

Hello Door Hanger

This door hanger came together quickly and made a beautiful addition to my front door. I wanted to create something to welcome guests into my home between seasons, and this neutral DIY door hanger was the perfect solution.

Numbered Drawers

I have seen various sets of these drawers floating around the internet and wanted to try to create my own version. What I like the most about these drawers is that there are so many options for personalization.

Wood Riser

This versatile piece was made using wood planks and wooden beads from Dollar Tree. After painting it with off-white chalk paint, I added a bit of distressing with some tan paint and a chip brush.
